Jinyung is a postdoctoral fellow from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, primarily working in the projects related to Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Plan (CQI) for child welfare policy and practice, and Child and Family Services Review (CFSR). Her research interests range from substance use, cyberbullying, and the health disparities of multicultural youths in South Korea to the issues of child maltreatment and its association with poverty, the impact of foster care or other forms of out-of-home care on children’s safety and well-being, and child welfare policy and services evaluation methods. Jinyung received her MA and PhD in social work and BA in international studies at Ewha Womans University, South Korea.
