Kaya Swann, MSW is the Program Director for the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) for the Parent, Infant & Early Childhood (PIEC) Program. In this key leadership role, Kaya is responsible for overseeing the coordination of technical assistance to programs and jurisdictions implementing IECMHC services, providing management and supervision of workplans and grant deliverables, and supporting innovations that improve project quality, expand impact, and encourage growth and sustainability. She previously served as the Program Manager for Howard County’s IECMHC program where she led a Behavior Consultation team for over 10 years and coordinated county wide behavioral health initiatives and services to increase the available therapeutic supports for children and youth. Kaya has over 20 years of experience working with child service systems, managing and implementing programs and services designed to improve outcomes for children, youth and families. Kaya has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Syracuse University and a Master of Social Work from University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Social Work where she focused on management, administration and community organizing.
