Director of the Institute’s National Center, Denise Sulzbach, JD, will be a featured plenary speaker at this year’s National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges Conference on Juvenile Justice. The virtual conference, November 8 through 11 of 2020, is a vital and important educational opportunity for stakeholders in the juvenile justice system and will explore gaps in services, discover new and improved practices, share cutting-edge research, and motivate participants to explore positive case outcomes for youth.
Ms. Sulzbach will be joined by colleagues Hon. Kim Berkeley Clark, President Judge of the Judicial District of Pennsylvania; Shay Bilchik, Research Professor and Director Emeritus of the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University; Cynthia Stoltz, Esq., Court Administrator of the Children’s Court for the Fifth Judicial District of Pennsylvania; and Evelyn Clark, Youth Liaison for Washington State Health Care Authority for their November 11 plenary Four-legged Stool: Essential Partnerships Needed to Support Multi-system Youth. Ms. Sulzbach will be addressing the use of the System of Care framework, including financing strategies, to improve outcomes for child welfare- and juvenile justice-involved youth and their families.
