Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Waiver Implementation Support
What is the YES Waiver?
The Health and Human Services Commission developed the Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Waiver to provide comprehensive home and community-based mental health services to youth between the ages of 3 and 18, up to a month before their 19th birthday, who have a serious emotional disturbance. Using Wraparound as the care coordination model, the YES Waiver provides flexible supports and specialized services to youth at risk of institutionalization and/or out-of-home placement and strives to provide hope to families by offering supports and services aimed at keeping families together in their communities.
