President, Center for Community Learning
Myriam is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is the founder and President of the Center for Community Learning. Myriam designs and executes training and provides technical assistance on the areas of cultural and linguistic competence, natural helpers, and community engagement. As part of her work, she serves as the Cultural and Linguistic Competence Consultant for the OCP2 grant in Broward County. She also serves on the leadership team for the Technical Assistance Network for Children's Behavioral Health. Prior to starting the Center for Community Learning, Myriam served on the leadership team for ConnectFamilias where she maintained a holistic network of coordinated services designed to strengthen families, youth and children. She also helped to crate a comprehensive curriculum for Community Health Workers/Promotoras. She is a former Annie E. Casey Foundation Fellow.
