Bio: Dr. Morton is the Lead Clinical Research Specialist at The Institute. In her role, she develops programs to meet the needs of the workforce serving children, youth, and families. Currently, she is leading the development of curricula related to the Residential Child and Youth Care Practitioner’s online training program, as well as curricula related to physical and oral health care for children. Previously, Dr. Morton was Adjunct Professor of Family Science at the University of Maryland, Assistant Professor of Family Studies at Towson University, and a Family Educator/Parenting Group Facilitator/Couple’s Course Facilitator at the Institute for Family Education. She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as her Ph.D. in Family Science from University of Maryland, College Park. She also completed her certification in Family Mediation from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work.
