Lead Research Analyst
Somayah is a Lead Research Analyst at The Institute. She works primarily with the Texas Center, supporting the implementation and evaluation of high quality, effective behavioral health services and supports for youth and families. Prior to joining The Institute, Somayah worked as an Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Department of Labor, and as a Clinical Data Manager for federal research trials. Somayah received her Master’s degree in Applied Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland. Somayah applies her quantitative economics, programming and data management experience to promote evidence-based decision making, resolve challenges and develop efficient processes for ongoing reporting.
