Rebekah Valenta is a National Wraparound Trainer and Coach for the Texas Center and the National Wraparound Implementation Center (NWIC) of the Institute for Innovation and Implementation at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Rebekah completed her studies in San Antonio, Texas at the Worden School of Social Work, of Our Lady of the Lake University. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work in 2012 and her Master of Social Work in 2013. Rebekah pursued a career working as a Clinical Practitioner II and Wraparound Facilitator, at the Center for Health Care Services, a local mental health authority in San Antonio, Texas shortly thereafter. In 2014, Rebekah relocated to Edinburg, Texas, and then continued this work in south Texas at Tropical Texas Behavioral Health, another local mental health authority working with at-risk youth and families, as a Wraparound Facilitator. In 2020, Rebekah became a Licensed Master of Social Work with hopes of continuing to positively impact youth and families within their own communities at a higher level.
