Director of Social Marketing
Michelle Boardman is the Director of Social Marketing at The Institute for Innovation and Implementation at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She joined The Institute in 2019 with expertise in engaging audiences, building brand awareness, and achieving organizational goals through integrated marketing strategy. Michelle earned her MBA from the University of Baltimore, an MS in Material Culture Studies from the University of Wisconsin and a BA in Women’s Studies from the University of Massachusetts. Michelle has previously worked in global health and in the museum field; this diverse background was centered on building an engaged and committed constituency for the organizations she worked for using research and metrics of success to ensure maximum impact.
