Customizing Health Homes

samhsaDr. Gary Blau from The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has publicized a new report by Sheila Pires that provides a rationale for why health homes under ACA should be customized for children and youth with serious behavioral health challenges.

The report offers practical and financial approaches to health home customization based on intensive care coordination models using high fidelity Wraparound that have emerged from systems of care in children’s behavioral health care.  This report can be found on the Center for Health Care Strategies website at http://bit.ly/WDGf0h.
